It was shortly after we all found out what a real threat COVID19 was. there was a tension in the air. having been on the road for 8 months performing 6 shows a week I was 20 pounds lighter and weaker than usual while recovering from what I now know to have been covid- 19) I was just starting to feel like myself again. And really needed a release.

This special evening in Paris when my good friend and fellow Ghanian T. Michael Bergen (bespoke tailor/ designer/ artist co owner of Norwegian Rain) let me turn his Norwegian Rain Paris location into a shrine.
And I shared songs from my upcoming release #YahZarahTheCeremony with some of the most incredible artists, and taste makers in Paris.

Performing from a stool to save strength. I found a sweetness in my voice I hadn’t tapped into before on the stage because I had to focus on what counted ...my gift. We lifted the room that night…
I told my story and for a few hours we in the warmth of T. Michael’s store a wooden sanctuary in Paris we shared and put the world outside on pause…

It is said that Sage cleans a room of scattered and negative energy and that Cedar turns any space into a sanctuary….
And that together their efforts sweeten all space…
After 10 years of waiting I am preparing to finally release
my project “THE CEREMONY” …
But first lets sweeten the space <3
